Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently released the K20 and the K20 Pro. Globally, these devices would come under the Xiaomi brand-name with the names Mi 9T and the Mi 9T Pro. It has already started launching the cheaper variant in several parts of the world. And today, the Xiaomi Mi 9T has been launched in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, the Xiaomi Mi 9T is priced at RM 1,199 for the 6GB/64GB variant and RM 1,399 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Mi 9T is the same as the Redmi K20 – with some downgraded internals when compared to the Pro variant.
The cheaper variant will be offered through the online retailer – Lazada. And it’ll go on sale starting June 25 along with a special launch day offer which will drop the price of the device to RM 1,099. The top variant will go on sale on June 29 and will be available for purchase through the authorized Mi Stores spread across Malaysia.
The Mi 9T is also expected to hit the Philippines market on June 24. The price in that market is still unknown but we won’t have to wait too long to know that price.
