There has been a lot of hype going on for the Redmi K20 Pro. But till now, it hasn’t made its way out of China. Recently, there have been leaks that the Redmi K20 Pro would arrive as Mi 9T Pro in several other markets. And now, its confirmed again that the Mi 9T Pro will be the global version of the Redmi K20 Pro.

This was found by an XDA-developers forum member who dissected the MIUI camera app and found some mentions of the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. There were three different codenames found inside the camera app, which indicates three different versions of the K20 Pro. The first codename was raphael which is for the Chinese variant. Second codename is the raphael_global which indicates that this is the global variant. And finally, the third codename is raphealin which stands for the Indian version.

Through these watermarks, we can see that the codename attached to the global variant has “Shot on Mi 9T Pro” which confirms that the Mi 9T Pro will be the re-branded version of the Redmi K20 Pro.
