Xiaomi has been offering competitive devices since quite a lot of years now. Also, recently they announced that they will be releasing the CC Series of smartphones which would be aimed at young generation. And today, Xiaomi has posted a promotional video of the Mi CC9e. Not only that, but some official looking renders have also surfaced online.

Talking about the promotional video first, we can see that the video shows an 8-year-old internet sensation Gavin Thomas. He is seen clicking selfies with the help of the Xiaomi Mi CC9e along with a lady who might be a company representative.

Right around this time, an official-looking render had also surfaced online. This render gives us a much more detailed look at the hardware – at least, external hardware. The device looks more like a Xiaomi Mi 9 with a curvy waterdrop notch.

Some of the early leaks also pointed towards it having a 6.39-inch display and that seems legit, especially after looing at the video. The 32MP selfie camera is housed inside the notch on the front and that’s what Gavin Thomas should’ve used in the promotional video for taking selfies. The render also confirms that the device will have a 48MP primary rear camera. Powering this device will be a Snapdragon 712 chipset with a 4,000 mAh battery.

It does feel like the launch is near especially when the company is already teasing it so much. But there’s no official launch date revealed yet.
