Xiaomi will soon be releasing their new series targeted towards the younger generation. The Mi CC Series is going to launch on July 2 in collaboration with Meitu. Till now, we had extremely limited amount of information on the specifications of the devices. But today, Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e specifications are leaked.
Mi CC9
These specifications were leaked due to a TENAA listing. A Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1904F3BT has been listed on TENAA which seems like the Mi CC9. That listing confirms that the smartphone will have an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz at its heart. This detail suggests that it could either be the Snapdragon 710 or the Snapdragon 730 as only these two chipsets from Qualcomm can match that clockspeed. Having a Snapdragon 710 in the device would be funny as we have seen Xiaomi troll Realme for using Snapdragon 710. So, I would highly expect a Snapdragon 730 to be in there.
Other than that, the TENAA listing also confirmed that the device will come in three variants – 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Also, Mi CC9 will come equipped with a 6.39-inch FHD+ OLED display with an under-display fingerprint scanner in it. It’ll be running on Android 9 Pie and will have a 3,940mAh battery cell powering the device.
As for the cameras, it is already confirmed that the device will come with a triple rear camera setup. The primary camera on the rear will be a 48MP sensor while the selfie shooter will be a 32MP sensor. Also, two colours of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 were already revealed by the company – Glacier Ice White and the Dark Blue Planet.
Mi CC9e
Well, another Xiaomi smartphone was also listed on TENAA carrying a model number M1906F9SC. This is expected to be the Mi CC9e which will be equipped with the 6.08-inch display and the same 3,940mAh battery.
No more specifications of this device have been listed yet, but it might get updated soon.
Also, in this pond of leaks and rumours, the CEO of Xiaomi – Lei Jun has also confirmed about the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. It’ll be available in the top 8GB/256GB variant and will arrive in a special packaging as shown below.
The custom edition is also said to have some special beauty filters by Meitu. Also, it’s supposed to have an AI-powered portrait mode with impressive low-light photo capabilities.
