Vivo has been trying to focus on the budget devices along with the mid-range and flagship devices. So, continuing with that focus, Vivo has launched the Vivo Y12 with a triple camera setup as well as a massive 5,000 mAh battery.

The Vivo Y12 features a huge 6.35-inch Halo FullView HD+ display which has a weird aspect ratio of 19.3:9. At its heart, it has the Helio P22 SoC and comes equipped with 4GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage. Note that this storage is expandable through a microSD card for which the slot is already provided.

As mentioned earlier, there’s a rear triple camera setup which has a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor along with 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Also, there is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlock and better security.

On the front, there’s one 8MP f/1.8 selfie camera tucked inside a teardrop notch. The device runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out of the box. And the aforementioned 5,000 mAh battery can be charged with the help of a microUSB port – which isn’t good in 2019 – Switch to Type-C.

The device can be purchased in either of the two colour variants – Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red. It is available for purchase on Vivo’s official website as well as Amazon.in for Rs. 12,490.
