Vivo is soon going to launch its new device – Vivo X30. It looks like alongside launching the new device, Vivo will also be launching their new OS – namely Jovi OS. And the Vivo X30 might be the first series of devices to have the Jovi OS.

Vivo has been using the FunTouchOS since a long time as its Android UI. This OS has so many similarities to the iOS even though it’s Android. But well, things might change with this new Android UI – namely Jovi OS. The FunTouchOS Project Manager – Ge Yanan took it to Weibo to announce this new development. And well, it comes right before the launch of the Vivo X30 which would make me believe that the X30 Series might be the first devices to get this new UI.

As of now, not much is known about Jovi OS except its design sketch for the logo. But I would expect a redesign of the entire UI as the FunTouchOS just isn’t fun to use. And probably, this new UI would change that. I’ll be extremely happy if they move slightly towards the Stock Android/OxygenOS path as that’s what I personally like to use.

Other than that, a new image of X30 Pro 5G has made its way to the Internet which showcases a headphone jack on the top left corner. Currently, the headphone jack is almost extinct. So, it’s great to see Vivo retain it on the X30 Series.

Some of the known specs of the X30 Series include a periscope camera with 60x hybrid zoom, 90Hz AMOLED displays and Samsung Exynos 980 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM. This might turn out to be one of the most interesting devices to check out during the end of this year.
