Vivo is keen to launch newer and better devices every year. Even in this last month of the year, it was expected that the company will launch a new device – Vivo X30. Well, that’s not an expectation anymore as the launch date of the Vivo X30 in China has been confirmed on December 16.
Vivo has been teasing the device since quite some time now. We’ve already seen the design of the device. Also, it was confirmed that Vivo will be using the Exynos 980 chipset in the Vivo X30. It was also revealed that the device will be equipped with a quad camera setup on the back with a periscope camera as well as the 64MP primary camera. The Periscope Camera will allow the Vivo X30 to achieve 60x hybrid zoom.
It is expected that the Vivo X30 will launch in three colour variants. On the front, there might be a punch-hole display. And luckily, we should find the extinct headphone jack on the top of the device. It is also expected that Vivo X30 will be the first device running on Vivo’s latest custom Android OS skin – Jovi OS. This might be a complete overhaul from what we have seen in the Vivo’s FunTouch OS till now.
As the announcement of the Vivo X30 is officially confirmed through Weibo, we can expect more leaks or confirmations to come before the launch day. Anyways, this device will also have a 5G variant and it’ll be interesting to see how and where this stack up against other devices in the market.
