The Mobile World Congress, or better known as the MWC – which is going to be held in Shanghai is kicking off on June 26. And Vivo has already posted a teaser which confirms its participation in the MWC. In this teaser, we can see Vivo is ready to release its first 5G smartphone next week.
The image teased by Vivo shows 5G written in a bubble along with the tag line which says, “Give me 5!” which sounds promising. But things are still unclear whether Vivo is planning to launch a smartphone or something else.
The MWC event in Shanghai will be held from June 26 to June 28. It is expected that the event will focus a lot on 5G, AI and home automation. Also, just like past several years, it might have a ton of manufacturers who will attend the event and showcase several devices.
Earlier this year, it was seen that Vivo already had plans to release a 5G smartphone in the market, but that was supposed to come out next year. Maybe, Vivo would just release the smartphone at this event, or probably just showcase it with the date of arrival being next year. Or maybe, a new Vivo 5G device would appear this year and would be available for purchase. Whatever it is, it’ll be confirmed soon.
