Vivo has already revealed that it planned to release a new 5G device soon. Other than that, it also showcased its futuristic 120W charging technology. I expected both of them to come to some Vivo device in the future but didn’t expect it to be released so soon. Yes, you read it right. Vivo iQOO 5G will be the first 5G Vivo device and also the first device to have that 120W fast charging technology.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and will be paired with an external X50 modem, just like most other 5G devices. Vivo talked in-depth about challenges of 5G, and what all it had to go through while fitting in 5G components in the device. Other than that, Vivo has not revealed any other specifications of the device.
Vivo also talked quite a lot about AR at the event. And the company also revealed that the Vivo iQOO 5G will come with 120W Super FlashCharge charging technology. We already saw that Vivo will introduce a 120W fast charging technology soon but didn’t had any idea on how it was going to achieve it. Now, it has confirmed that it’ll be achieved by 20V/6A combination, which equals to 120W.
Both the futuristic technology in a single device seems too good to be true, but it is true. The only catch is that it would be released within next three months and might go on sale some time after that. However, when it does release, I’ll make sure to cover it as both the technologies are interesting.
