Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is about to enter the Indian market. However, before it enters the market, it’ll be launching a new device in China – which will hopefully make its way to India. The name of the device wasn’t known till now. But well, Vivo recently posted an image on Weibo which kinda revealed the name of the device. And well, through that image, it can be said that the Vivo iQOO 3 might launch soon in China.

So yes, the name of the device has been secretly revealed through that image – and it’s the Vivo iQOO 3. It’s not confirmed and even iQOO hasn’t explicitly mentioned iQOO 3 on Weibo or anywhere else. However, the image shows the number 3 quite well – even in the shadow.

Even though no specifications have been revealed yet, we do have some leaks through the recent posting on TENAA. It appeared with the model number V1955A. This device will have a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a small punch-hole on the upper right corner. This hole will be equipped with a 16MP selfie camera. Also, iQOO will take the advantage of AMOLED display by using an in-display fingerprint sensor.

iQOO 3 is supposedly going to be powered by the latest and greatest chip from Snapdragon – Snapdragon 865. That will be paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM which will be further paired with 128GB or 256GB Internal Storage. This is probably going to be UFS 3.1 Storage as a Weibo post by the company said “UFS 3.1 is so fast to use” – which will be great.

On the back, there might be a quad camera setup which will consist of a 64MP Primary Camera along with two 13MP and one 2MP secondary sensors. If I had to guess, they’ll be a telephoto, an ultrawide and a macro/depth sensor. It’ll also supposed going to come with 5G support. All this hardware will receive their power from a respectable 4,370 mAh battery. This will also support fast charging through the USB Type-C Port.

As of now, nothing is confirmed here. Also, no launch date has been revealed yet. However, it should be quite close as it has already received a TENAA certification. Also, an iQOO device should be on its way to India – hopefully, we get the latest one. I’ll try to cover it once it is launched. So, stay tuned for that.
