Redmi K20 Series was quite a successful series of devices. And it’s going to introduce its successors on December 10. Recently, the heart of the Redmi K30 was confirmed to be the Snapdragon 765G. But it wasn’t clear from where it’ll get the juice from. So, today it is revealed that the Redmi K30 will come with 4500 mAh battery which will be capable of being fully charged in an hour.

This battery capacity is 500 mAh higher than its predecessor which should be enough to provide juice to the highly capable chipset. Also, it should be more than enough to provide juice to the massive 6.67-inch display and the 64MP Primary camera.

Now, we know that the battery is huge. But how long will it take to charge it? Well, you’ll be glad to know that you can fully charge it in an hour. Redmi K30 will be coming with 30W fast charging which will be able to fill the battery from 0% to 100% in an hour – according to Redmi. Also, Redmi has claimed that the K30’s 30W fast charging technology is different from other 30W charging technologies. That’s because it will be equipped with an independent charge pump and will be having a charging conversion efficiency of up to 97%.

Note that this 30W Fast Charging will be proprietary. But don’t worry much as Redmi K30 will also come with the support for Qualcomm Quick Charge and USB Power Delivery. I don’t understand why other brand don’t do this as it’s extremely convenient.

Redmi also posted an image on Weibo to show off their new purple colour of the Redmi K30 – which does look great. It’s a subtle purple and not something which would hit you in the eye. That picture also showcases the quad camera setup on the back. If you look closely, you’ll also see the dual camera setup on the top-right front-side corner – in the reflection. This once again confirms the presence of the punch-hole display on the front.

How much of these claims are true? That’s a question which will be answered once the device is launched and once I get to test it. But as of now, this looks like a promising device. I’ll make sure to keep you all update if any other things are revealed for the K30 Series.
