Redmi K30 has been leaking out on the Internet recently. We’ve also received some confirmations about the device. Today, another confirmation about the hardware of the Redmi K30 made its way to the Internet. You might be wondering what that is? Well, it is now confirmed that Redmi K30 will be powered by Snapdragon 765G.

If you don’t know much about this chipset, I’ve covered it in detail in a recent article. The Snapdragon 765 and 765G have been recently announced by Qualcomm at their annual summit. The 765G is the same as the Snapdragon 765 – just with some GPU-boost.

It’s also confirmed that the Snapdragon 765G will have integrated 5G modem – probably, Snapdragon X52 multi-mode 5G modem. This will help the Redmi K30 to reach download speed of up to 3.7Gbps. Also, it’s confirmed that the Redmi K30 will be equipped with a 6.67-inch punch-hole display. The hole for the punch-hole will be 4.38mm long on the top right corner of the display which will equip dual selfie cameras.

The back panel on the Redmi K30 will be made of Frosted Glass – which has been the trend this year. There’ll be a quad camera setup on the back. And according to the label on the left side of the camera, the primary sensor will be a 64MP sensor – It might be the new Sony IMX686 according to a tipster. Along with the 64MP primary sensor, there will be 8MP, 5MP and 2MP sensors.

The first promotional video of the Redmi K30 is also out. And it shows the device in that purple gradient shade – which does look good. Some leaks also revealed the device in a red colour variant and it just looks okay-ish when compared to the purple gradient.

Official specifications of the device aren’t out yet. And we might have to wait until the launch to get them. But a part of the specifications has already been revealed through which we know that the device will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a punch-hole display and will come with a total of six cameras. And as per today’s confirmation, it’ll be launched with the Snapdragon 765G – which sounds like a good upgrade over the 730G. Even though the earlier leaks suggested that the device will have 730G, I just didn’t believe them and expressed the same in those articles. But now, I’m glad that it’s going to have an upgrade.

We’ll see more confirmation before the launch of the device on December 10. And I’ll be here to cover that.
