Redmi K30 launch event is extremely close now. As expected with the launch coming closer, we start to see more and more leaks about the device. And well, it’s no different with the Redmi K30. Even though the launch is scheduled on December 10, a hands-on video of the Redmi K30 has already been leaked on the Internet.

Even though there is no “5G” label under the camera array, we can see that the device is equipped with a quad camera setup – one of them being the 64MP Sony IMX686 which I’m pretty excited about. Other than the design, the only thing this video is able to confirm is that the device will run on MIUI 11 – probably based on Android 10.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has also posted some more teasers about the Redmi K30 on Weibo. In those teasers, Xiaomi has revealed that the device will be equipped with the 5G dual-frequency GPS, 1217 ultra-linear speakers and a USB Type-C port. Also, it is great to see that Xiaomi has still retained the extinct 3.5mm headphone jack on this device.

We have already seen the confirmation of some of the key specifications for this device. Some of them are Snapdragon 765G chipset, 5G connectivity, a 6.67-inch punch-hole display, a rear quad camera setup with that 64MP Primary camera and a 4,500 mAh battery which can charge in an hour. The punch-hole will be holding a 20MP primary selfie camera and a secondary depth sensor.

The launch is just a few days away. So, we’ll get to know everything about the device soon. Until then, there will be leaks coming out for this device and I’ll be covering them.
