The leaks for the Redmi K30 are starting to hit the market as the launch is getting close. We have already seen a few leaks for the device and today, a new leak just appeared on the Internet. This new leak shows that the Redmi K30 5G will come with a quad camera setup.
In the recent leaks, we saw that the front of the device will have a dual camera setup inside that pill shaped hole-punch display. And now, some promo shots of actor Wang Yibo holding the Redmi K30 5G have appeared online which shows the back of the device. In this promo shot, it can be seen that the device will be equipped with a quad camera setup on the back.
This camera setup will be inside a vertical camera module holding all four lenses. The four lenses here include a 64MP Primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, 8MP telephoto and a 2MP depth sensor. There also appears to be a circular ring around this camera setup – but it might very well just be a design thing of the back panel itself. So, the camera bump might just include the vertical camera array.
As there is a “5G” label just under the camera setup, the 5G variant of the device can also be confirmed through this. This variant will be in addition to the base 4G variant of the device. Some images on the internet shows the back panel of the 4G variant with just a triple camera setup. So, it is possible that the fourth camera is specifically only there in the 5G variant and/or the Pro variant of the device.
If you are someone who is reading in China, there’s some good news for you. You will be able to enter a lottery for a chance to win a Redmi K30 device signed by Wang Yibo himself. So, stay tuned for that. Also, more leaks will follow in the upcoming week as the Redmi K30 series will be launched in just over a week.
