OnePlus has been pretty good with updating their devices. Also, they have Public Betas – known as Open Betas where anyone can try out the new build. And well, OnePlus has released another Open Beta build for the OnePlus 6 and 6T users to try out.

oneplus beta update

This new build comes with some major bug fixes like the 5Ghz WiFi connection issues, fingerprint identification issues and more. Here’s the entire changelog if you want to see it for yourself:

  • System
    • Fixed the fingerprint identification issue
    • Fixed the animation lag for the fingerprint unlock
    • Fixed the automatic Freeze and Reboot issues
    • Improved system stability and fixed other known issues
  • Camera
    • Improved the performance and General bug fixes
  • WiFi & internet
    • Fixed the 5Ghz WiFi connection

Do note that these are Beta builds for a reason. They won’t provide you the stability of a Stable build and you might have to deal with some bugs – minor as well as major – if you end up installing this build on your device. So, install the Beta builds only if you’re ready to deal with the issues which might come with it.
