LG isn’t seen much in the budget to mid-range category of smartphones. And that is one of the most important categories in India. But earlier this month, we saw that LG will be targeting that segment with the launch of a new series of smartphones in India. And today, LG W Series – W10, W30 and W30 Pro has been launched in India.

LG W10

The LG W10 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset which is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage. This storage is expandable via a microSD card slot which is provided in the device. It has a 6.19-inch HD+ FullVision display with a weird 18.9:9 aspect ratio.

LG W10 has a dual camera setup on the back. The sensors on the back are 13MP and 5MP. Coming to the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera which is inside that gigantic notch.

The price for the LG W10 is kept at Rs. 8,999 and there will be two colour options – Smokey Grey and Tulip Purple. The device will go on sale through Amazon India on July 3.

LG W30

The LG W30 sports a bigger 6.26-inch HD+ IPS LCD FullVision display with a small waterdrop notch which looks much better. It has the same MediaTek Helio P22 chipset which is again paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage. And again, this storage can be expanded with the help of a micro SD card.

On this device, there is a triple camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 12MP Sony IMX486 along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. This makes it the first device to have a triple camera setup in this segment. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.

The LG W30 is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available in Thunder Blue and Platinum Grey colour options. It’ll be launching on July 3.

LG W30 Pro

The LG W30 Pro will be the top variant, as of now, in the LG W Series of smartphone. It’ll be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 paired along with 4GB RAM. It’ll sport a 6.22-inch HD+ FullVision V display.

On the back, there will be a 13MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. And there will be a 16MP selfie camera on the front tucked inside that waterdrop notch.

All devices will have a 4,000 mAh battery and will run on Android 9 Pie. All of them will be having an almost Stock Android experience without that heavy LG’s skin which we have been used to in the past. I think that’s a pretty good move and I hope all LG devices just have this Stock Android. Also, all of them will be equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for better security.
