We’ve seen several companies trying to enter the budget smartphone category, and it looks like LG does not want to be left behind in this race. So, LG has teased a new W-series smartphone on Amazon India which seems to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung. Even though it might be launching soon, the exact launch date of this W-Series Smartphone is not known yet.
This smartphone would be coming with the triple camera setup and would also be offered in three different colour options. Also, the dedicated page for LG W-Series Smartphone on Amazon claims that this new device would arrive with a “pocket-worthy” price tag.
The same dedicated page also confirms that the smartphone will come with an AI-enabled camera. This camera would support features such as Wide-Angle Shot, Low-Light Shot and a dedicated Portrait Mode as well. Also, it’ll be offering bokeh effect and has wide-angle image capabilities. The teaser image shown on the site also confirms the presence of the rear mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
As I said earlier, the Amazon listing doesn’t specify any launch date or price of the LG W-Series Smartphone. But it might come with a competitive price tag, just like Samsung launched their M-Series with a competitive price tag. Probably, this would give Xiaomi a bit more competition. And competition is always good for the end consumer.
