When it comes to updating the devices to the latest Android version, we’ve seen that LG wasn’t among the first ones to do so. But well, it looks like things are getting better. According to a recent report by GSMArena, LG G8 ThinQ has started receiving stable Android 10 update.

Last month, Android 10 Beta program was started for the LG G8 ThinQ in South Korea. And now, the stable Android 10 update is rolling out for the LG G8 ThinQ devices in the country. This new update has the version number G820N20c. This build also comes with the updated November 2019 security patch and new Android 10 features. No changelog is available for the device yet.

The update should’ve been rolled out in stages. So, it might reach all South Korean users in a few weeks. It’s still not clear when this update will reach the global users. But it should be coming out soon if no critical bugs are found in this initial rollout.

LG has already started the Android 10 Beta program for V50 ThinQ in South Korea. So, the stable version for the same should be out soon. As soon as it is rolled out, I’ll make sure to cover that.
