Huawei has been getting slacked ever since it was added in the Entity List. Adding to that, Facebook has now suspended Huawei from pre-installing their applications on the future Huawei devices. These apps include Facebook, Messenger, Instagram as well as WhatsApp. These are one of the most popular and widely used social media applications around the world. This ban only applies for unreleased Huawei devices according to Reuters.

Facebook suspended Huawei from pre-installing their applications

As of now, those who already own Huawei devices can still install and use Facebook suite as long as Google Services are still supported on their devices. Once the 90-day period given to Huawei is over, it’ll be difficult to find a workaround to install these apps if a new deal isn’t reached between Chinese and US governments.

Yeah, this would be a boon for people who didn’t like bloatware on their devices. But it might get difficult to install these apps without the Google Play Store if Huawei doesn’t find a solution for this.
