Apple will be launching its new set of devices soon. The three devices which are going to be launched today include iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Other than these iPhones, Apple might also reveal the new Watch – Series 5 and possibly an iPad 10.2. And well, I’m here to cover it all. So, as soon as the event starts, I’ll start posting live updates from the launch and cover the entire Apple iPhone 11 Live Launch Event. If you’ve enough data and time to watch the livestream, you can go ahead and watch it here. But if you just want to read things and save data as well as time, then just stay tuned.
22:05 IST: The launch event will commence at 22:30 IST. Until then, you can go ahead and read this article where I covered the price leaks for iPhone 11 Series.
22:20 IST: Beautiful colors displayed on the Apple Logo with the Dark Background. It looks like several colour options will be available for iPhones – at least, for the cheapest variant. Also, dark mode related talks expected during the launch event.
22:30 IST: And it’s live with an amazing video of its recent products. Apple never disappoints with these videos.
22:33 IST: Apple Arcade makes it way to the Apple App Store. It includes exclusive games on the subscription.
22:42 IST: Apple Arcade will be available from September 19, 2019. It’ll cost $4.99 for family subscription and will launch with 1-month free trial. This will give you access to over 100 games, and more will be added in the future.
22:44 IST: Tim is back on the stage. And now, he starts talking about Apple TV+. He says that the trailer of “The Morning Show” is one of the most watched trailers right now. Following that, he rolls the trailer for “See” and it does look interesting – to say the least.
22:48 IST: The first shows will be available from November 1, 2019. And it’ll also be priced at $4.99 for family subscription. Also, when you buy an Apple product, you’ll get one year of free subscription. That’s pretty great.
22:51: IST: The future of iPad is being announced. Finally, the new 7th Generation iPad is announced with support for iPadOS. It flaunts a 10.2-inch Retina display which has 3.5 million pixels. It is powered by the A10 Fusion chip – Not so great, Apple.
22:57 IST: The new iPad is made of 100% recycled aluminium. And it starts at $329. For students, it’ll be available at $299. And you can order one today. Next is Apple Watch.
23:02 IST: Apple Watch Stories are great. But let’s just move to the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 5. That’s the more exciting part.
23:08 IST: Apple Watch Series 5 is here. It features a new always-on retina display. That feature was available on WearOS watches since a long time. But the Apple Watch has used the industry-first LTPO technology which can refresh the display from as high as 60Hz to as low as 1Hz, which is extremely power efficient. Apple claims that the watch has an all-day battery life of up to 18 hours – That means it maintains the battery life even with this feature.
23:14 IST: Apple Watch Series 5 comes with WatchOS 6. The GPS model will start at $399. And the Cellular variant will start at $499. You can place your order today, right after the keynote. And it’ll be available in Apple stores from September 20. And now, the Apple Watch 3 starts at $199.
23:17 IST: And it’s finally time for iPhone. Apple iPhone XR was the most popular iPhone last year. Last year’s iPhone had 99% customer satisfaction.
23:19 IST: Apple iPhone 11 is introduced. It will be available in six different colors. The camera module has the same color as the device itself. It has the 6.1-inch Liquid Retina Display – Still, LCD. Also, it has Dolby Atmos Support. On the back, it has the 12MP primary sensor along with an ultra-wide secondary sensor.
23:24 IST: Apple iPhone 11 can take portrait shots of almost anything including people, pets, and several creative shots – similar to when we had the telephoto camera. Also, the iPhone 11 finally comes with a dedicated night mode. And it switches automatically to that mode when it senses lesser light. On the video side, it has cinematic video stabilization and can capture videos using both cameras. It also has a quick take feature through which you can take videos just by holding the shutter button in the photo mode. On the front camera, you can now take slow motion videos.
23:30 IST: Apple iPhone 11 comes with A13 Bionic at its heart, which means it has the fastest CPU and the fastest GPU in the smartphone. Apple iPhone 11 has an hour more of battery than the iPhone XR. Apple iPhone 11 starts at $699 – Now, that’s amazing.
23:40 IST: iPhone 11 Pro is here to stay. It has matte finish and comes in four different colors. It has the Super-Retina XDR display – that means it’s OLED and it has Dolby Vision as well as Dolby Atmos support. Also, it is an HDR10 display with a pixel density of 458 pixels per inch.
23:45 IST: Apple A13 Bionic has 8.5 billion transistors. CPU, GPU as well as Neural Engine are all more powerful than last generation, but will still consume less power.
23:47 IST: With iPhone 11 Pro, you’ll get 4 hours more than the iPhone XS. And with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, you’ll get 5 hours more than the iPhone XS Max. Also, they will come with 18W fast chargers included in the box – finally. These devices include a triple camera setup – wide i.e 12MP f/1.8, ultra-wide i.e. 12MP f/2.4 as well as a telephoto sensor i.e 12MP f/2.0.
23:53 IST: Apple iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max flaunts the Deep Fusion Technology which takes a total of 9 shots and combines them using the Neural Engine to give you one great and detailed image. And all this happens in just 1 second so that you don’t even realize that. On the video side, iPhone has always been great and it’s the same here. But one new feature is Audio Zoom in Video, just like we saw with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
00:01 IST: Apple iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch display while the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has 6.5-inch. Both are OLED – and Apple calls them Super-Retina XDR Display. They can go up to 1200 nits of brightness – and that’s really bright.
