Amazon has been keen on releasing new Kindle devices. Even today, Amazon launched the all-new Kindle Oasis, which starts at Rs. 21,999.

This new Kindle Oasis comes with one neat feature, which is helpful while reading – Adjustable colour tone display. Now, you can adjust the colour tone of the display according to your choice. You can either choose the display to be cool white or warm yellow or even something in between. Also, you can set an auto schedule to change the colour of the display based on the time of the day.

This new e-ink display in the Kindle Oasis also supports faster page refreshes which can make your experience, a bit better. And there’s a new colour you can choose to buy – Champagne Gold, other than the regular Graphite version. Everything else remains identical to the previous generation model. This new device doesn’t even get an upgraded charging port to Type-C, and that’s not acceptable in 2019.

The starting price of the Kindle Oasis is a bit too much, and I really don’t understand why it exists in the first place. Whatever it does, can be done on a smartphone in a more or less similar way and one can have several more features when compared to the Oasis. Personally, I haven’t used a Kindle device yet, but I don’t know if I’ll like it anyways if I used it – especially when considering the price.

Have you used a Kindle device before? If yes, let me know how much you like it or not in the comments below. Also, let me know how you feel about this latest Kindle Oasis in the comments below.
